Chemical & laser peels, Botox and collagen treatments, fat injections

Chemical & laser peels offer methods of reducing and sometimes eliminating facial wrinkles.  The stronger the treatment the longer the healing period, but the greater the degree of improvement to be expected.  We offer mild to moderate chemical peels and laser peels depending upon your skin type, and the severity of your wrinkling and sun damage.

Click on the thumbnail below to see an example of a CO2 laser peel of the upper and lower eyelids combined with surgical fat removal only of the lower lids performed without any external incisions.

Botox and collagen each can be very effective in temporarily and relatively easily reducing or eliminating wrinkles.  Botox weakens muscles around the corners of the eyes and between the eyebrows for periods of between 3 & 6 months.  The benefit of this has been marvellous (although temporary) in making both men and women look much younger with smoother skin!  Collagen works differently by filling in the wrinkles within the skin.  It also lasts for periods of a couple to several months (collagen does require two skin tests since a small number of people may be allergic to it).  Basically, botox is better for wrinkles from active movements like smile lines or squint lines, while collagen is effective for wrinkles that are present in repose (without active muscle contraction from facial expression).
